I am Niklas
The heart and soul behind Items of Cyprus.
A few months after moving to Cyprus, I started picking up litter on the island's beaches.
At first, it was just me, a pair of gloves and a trash bag.
One cleanup became two. Two became ten. Then hundreds of people joined. Today, together with an incredible community called The Island Keepers, we've removed thousands of kilograms of waste from Cyprus' coastline.
But cleaning beaches wasn't enough.
Every cleanup ended with the same question:
What happens to all this plastic?
That's how Items of Cyprus was born.
My mission is simple:
To turn collected waste from Cyprus into meaningful products that tell a story.
Every piece represents a place, a cleanup, and a small reminder that positive change starts with individual action.
What was once discarded becomes something worth keeping.
Not just a product.
A piece of Cyprus.
A piece of the movement.
